A Great Summer at Tavor
Habonim Dror Camp Tavor, located in southwest Michigan on 69 acres of rolling hills, has created life-changing summers for Jewish children and teens from around the country for more than 50 years! We are an overnight, co-ed camp that fosters enduring friendships, life skills, and a connection to Israel in an exciting, dynamic, fun-filled environment.
Welcome to Camp Tavor!
We are located just 30 minutes from Kalamazoo, MI and 2.5 hours from both Chicago, IL and Detroit, MI. Our private campsite with its shoreline on lovely Lake Kaiser, includes a swimming pool, multiple sports fields, arts and crafts and music facilities, and numerous hiking trails. These amenities give us ample space to host stimulating, enriching, and varied daily activities.
With a 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, a maximum of 200 campers per session, and activities that bridge the age gap, Camp Tavor’s community is nurturing and inclusive. Its activities are individualized and aim to build self-confidence.
