Explore Tavor is a great opportunity for first-time campers who might be hesitant about going to a new camp, attending a Jewish camp, being away from home, attending a first overnight camping experience, or who want a shorter introduction to camp.

Explore Tavor prices include $100 one-way transportation and $25 suggested kupah.* Parents bring their children home from camp on Visitors Day, first session and pick up on July 26 second session. No return transportation is provided.
Bus Transportation is available for campers from Chicago, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Madison and Milwaukee.
*Kupah is a suggested donation from campers. Like in a kibbutz, we put money into a shared fund so all campers have access to anything from stamps to t-shirts, toothbrushes, or snacks for a party. All campers contribute, so all feel an equal part of our community. Camp Tavor does not have a canteen. Madatz Kupah is larger than other campers because our Madatzim stay at camp for the entire summer.
