Madatzim are our Counselors in Training.

Our Madatzim are full-season campers who live in their own area and learn leadership skills throughout first session. The comprehensive training program begins earlier than regular camp sessions and ends later. During the second session, Madatzim live with chanichim (campers) and apply the skills they have learned by taking on the roles of junior counselors.

In addition to their roles at Camp Tavor, Madatzim participate in Mifgash, a gathering of Madatzim from the entire national youth movement during the summer. For those who attended the movement’s M.B.I. program, Mifgash is also a chance to reunite with friends from the previous summer.
