At Camp Tavor, the youth-led programming empowers campers to truly become independent Jewish thinkers who recognize how important their lives are in making the world a better place.
Peulot are daily programs for each age group.
Camp Tavor is built on an ideological foundation, and peulot (programs) are when we break into age groups to learn about those important shared ideals. Splitting into age groups is great for bonding as a kvutzah (group) and also keeps the educational programming age-appropriate and fun for everyone. Topics for peulot range from social justice to Jewish holidays, and sometimes a peula shichva (age group program) is all about just having fun and playing a game together! This block is different every day, but chanichim (campers) always love this chance to explore the reasons why we do things the way we do.
On Shabbat (sabbath) we have a period for peulot tzrifim/ohelim (cabin/tent programs), which is a special block just for tent and cabin groups to bond and enjoy one another!
